摘要

A new block predictor-block corrector method for solving third order ordinary differential equations directly is developed in this research paper. The method of interpolation and collocation of power series approximate solution are employed in developing this method with step-length k = 4. The properties of the method developed such as zero-stability, consistency, convergence, order and error constants are also established. The new method was applied to solve some third order ordinary differential equations using a computer code and the results are found better in terms of error when compared with the existing method.
