摘要

The popularity of wireless sensor network has increased, since sensor nodes have the sensing capability within their sensing range. An emergence of WSN has increased many challenges on network design such as limited bandwidth, high consumption of energy and critical routing. In this paper we proposed a new routing protocol for reducing energy consumption of sensor nodes on smart car parking application in WSN. Our proposed Energy Efficient Geographic Routing Protocol (EEGRP) provides lower energy consumption, scalability and limited power usage of sensor nodes. In this paper we also proposed a Certificate Authority (CA) based security mechanism to prevent from various attacks in WSN. The protocol architecture provides energy efficient routing and a security based performances and analyzed through Ns2 simulation. The simulation results show that our proposed system provides efficient routing among the car parking lot and is also offers more security during car parking lot reservation.
