摘要

Yield strength and ultimate tensile strength of a material are the important properties in sheet metal forming applications. These properties decide the plastic deformation and failure of sheet metals in sheet metal forming applications. In perforated sheet metal, these properties are affected by presence of holes. An attempt is made here to study the influence of open area and hole diameter on effective yield strength and effective ultimate tensile strength of aluminium 1050A sheets.
