摘要

A majority of solar cookers presently in use are relatively cheap, low-tech devices, which can be used for cooking food by boiling, baking and frying. They have the limitation that they can be used only when the sun is shining. This paper describes the design of a device which can collect and store solar energy as heat, and can be removed and used to cook food whenever needed in any other location. A device which can be mounted at the focus of a parabolic dish was conceived and tested. The initial results of the study are presented.
