Since second-generation shop West Side Radiator Works, Denver, Pa., developed its low-temperature welding rods it has found a whole range of uses for them. This comes as no surprise since owner Angelo Miozza says they tried the spectrum of available plastic tank radiator repair tools available to them and none offered what was needed. Brian Sollenberger, shop manager and Accu-Tech technical trainer, helped develop the products and is responsible for the testing, implementing, and training when it comes to new procedures and products. To develop the Accu-Tech products West Side Radiator Works is fortunate to have its own field and test lab right in the shop. "We tried various stress tests, and occasionally we would use it to repair a customer's car and let them know what we had done," Miozza says.
