Field-cooled static nonlinear response of relaxor ferroelectrics

The third-order static field-cooled nonlinear dielectric permittivity in relaxor ferroelectric PbMg_(1/3)Nb_(2/3)O_(3) has been measured as a function of temperature. It is shown that the observed behavior can be explained by a mechanism of nonlinear response within the framework of the spherical random bond-random field model.
