Dear Sir, Epidermolysis bullosa is characterised by skin fragility, blistering, nail dystrophy and scarring in response to minor trauma. The dystrophic form is a hereditary disease with either autosomal recessive or autosomal dominant inheritance. The treatment of the disease has remained largely supportive until now.
