Chevron has confirmed another discovery from its drilling program in the Carnarvon Basin, offshore Western Australia. The Orthrus-2 well, drilled within WA-24-R about 100 km north-west of Barrow Island, was designed to appraise the existing Orthrus field and to test a deeper exploration objective.
