On the thermodynamic curvature of nonequilibrium gases

We compute the Gaussian curvature of the thermodynamic metric defined by the second derivatives of the entropy for a nonequilibrium heathyphen;conducting dilute gas of rigid spheres. It is seen that the presence of the heat flux increases the thermodynamic curvature.
