An efficient synthesis of 1,3,4thiadiazolo2,3-c1,2,4 triazin-4-ones

摘要

A three-component reaction between 4-amino-6-methyl-3-thioxo-3,4-dihydro-2H-1,2,4triazin-5-one, ammonium thiocyanate and aroyl chlorides in the presence of N-methylimidazole to afford the 1,3,4thiadiazolo2,3-c1,2,4triazin-4-ones in excellent yields is described.
