Much has been made of the disastrous reign of Dany Bahar, the former CEO of Lotus Cars who departed under a cloud in June 2012. Since the brand's wildly ambitious multicar reveal at the 2010 Paris auto show, the company nearly went belly-up and, in the process, all but disappeared from the U.S. market (see sidebar).
