ABSTRACTPotential migrants were isolated from gaskets of commercial aerosol valves with methylene chloride using Soxhlet apparatus. A large number of compounds appeared to be curing or processing aids including activators and antioxidants. Several sulfur‐containing reaction products and polynuclear aromatic compounds such as phenanthrene, fluoranthene, and pyrene were also identified.
