Optically detected magnetic resonance of the mgr;hyphen;oxo bridged porphyrin dimer

摘要

The scandium mgr;hyphen;oxo dimer of octaethyl porphyrin has been investigated by optically detected magnetic resonance. By comparing the zerohyphen;field splitting parameters of the monomer and the dimer using the strong coupling exciton model it is concluded that the two porphyrin rings are essentially coplanar in the dimer.
