Global Formula Racing is a cooperative project between Oregon State University (OSU) in Corvallis (Oregon, USA) and Duale Hochschule Baden-Wurttemberg (DHBW) Ravensburg. The purpose of this project is to build two prototypes, identical in construction, as one joint team and take part in Formula Student competitions. The race cars are developed at both schools and one car is assembled on each side of the globe. Using the example of the monocoque for this year's race cars, the development process of components is demonstrated.
