Whilst in general,continuous mixing of powders or low viscosity slurries is relatively straight forward,continuous processing of dough is everything but a piece of cake!Applications where very viscous pastes or plastic masses are to be handled in continuous operation such as mixing of bakery premix powder with a low melting fat,mixing of sugar,oil and other additives to produce a doughy cookie filing,or mixing potato flakes with water and other additives,can now be handled effectively with the Rietz Extrud-O-Mix from Hosokawa Micron Ltd.
