The viscosity coefficients of gaseous mixtures of sulfur hexafluoride and carbon tetrafluoride have been measured in the temperature range 300deg;mdash;350deg;K. These experimental results are discussed in terms of the kinetic theory expression for mixture viscosities (using the empirical combining rules for the potential parameters), and the Sutherlandmdash;Wassiljewa equation. Diffusion coefficients for the mixtures have been determined from the mixture viscosities using the procedure of Weissman and Mason.
