The OptiSonde humidity indicator, transmitter and data logger is claimed by its maker, GE Sensing and Inspection Technologies, to be the first chilled mirror hygrometer to offer the precision and repeatability found in laboratory standards in a compact and economical instrument for industrial applications. The OptiSonde can calibrate and verify a wide variety of humidity sensors and instruments. It can monitor humidity and temperature in pharmaceutical processes, environmental test chambers, automotive and aerospace engine emissions and testing, and heat exchanger and air conditioning performance testing.
