摘要

Schweinfurt, Germany - Smart Housing is a robust system for use in critical bearing applications, where early warnings of "off trend" performance can avoid breakdowns and increase production efficiency. Being able to monitor and control critical parameters in machine bearings is the key to reliable operation. It gives improved production reliability, increased safety and provides vital knowledge about machine conditions. Production reliability leads to shorter and fewer planned production stops and lessens the risk of unplanned stops. This raises production efficiency and makes production more predictable. Increased safety comes from early warnings so that breakdowns and hazardous situations can be prevented. Increased bearing application knowledge can be analysed to reveal the root cause of failures that give rise to unplanned production stops.
