Simple Method of Deriving the Elements of the Tensorhyphen;Force Matrix for Monatomic Cubic Crystals

摘要

A correlation has been given between the force constants of thenthhyphen;neighbor axially symmetric and tensorhyphen;force models. The equations giving the correlation, lead to a very simple method of writing down the elements of the tensorhyphen;force matrix for any atomic position in a monatomic fcc or bcc lattice. A table of the tensorhyphen;force matrix is given for certain atomic positions and compared with similar results obtained by other authors from symmetry considerations.
