Conformational transitions of long chain molecules in frozen solutions

We show by temperaturehyphen;cyclinghyphen;holehyphen;burning experiments that the conformational barriers of onehyphen;dimensional long chain aggregates of pseudoisocyanine iodide in frozen solutions follow a distribution of the formPv(V)sim;1/V. This is the same distribution as has been measured for threehyphen;dimensional glasses.
