abstract_textpA series of N-substituted tropane derivatives were synthesized and their interactions with the dopamine transporter were analyzed using kinetic methods. This series was designed to distinct the structural features that induce the change in the binding mechanism, in which some compounds form an isomerized complex with the protein.
