Measurement of the actual properties of matrix in the SiC_w/6061Al composite by X-ray diffraction

摘要

The method to determine the stress-strain curve of the matrix in the composite was established by using X-ray diffraction, and then the actual properties of the matrix in the as-east composite 20 vol. percent SiC_w/6061Al were investigated. Testing results showed that the yield strength and hardening exponent of the matrix in the composite were obviously higher than those of the 6061Al alloy.
