The first order of business is to notethe dramatic increase in welded importsfrom Brazil as reported by the Bureau ofCustoms. This is for sure an ERROR. Thereare several reasons we believe this. First,we would have heard about an import buyof this magnitude. Second, prior to thisBrazil had imported less than 400 tons yearto date. Finally, note the license pricing inthe table on August licenses.
