摘要

The present study investigates the Specific absorption rate (SAR) and the induced electric field in an anatomically based model for the magnetic field from a wireless power transfer system. The transfer frequency considered herein is in the 100 kHz band where a magneto-quasi-static approximation is valid. The SAR and the electric field in different parts of the model are calculated by solving the scalar potential finite difference system equation. From computational results, the peak values of the SAR averaged over 10 g of tissue and the induced electric field were 9.0 nW/kg and 30.0 mV/m for the transfer power of 1 W, respectively. These values were substantially smaller than the basic restrictions prescribed in the international guidelines/standard, which allows the system to transfer up to 630 W of power. The results indicate the induced electric field as a restrictive factor when evaluating the compliance of the wireless power transfer system.
