Tuned Radio Frequency Receiver for Satellite Communication

摘要

The advanced technology of microwave semiconductor devices has made it possible to develop wideband FM linear discriminators and Tuned Radio Frequency (TRF) receivers atUHFand microwaves. In this paper, different types ofFMdiscriminators and TRF receivers which are presently in use for satellite communication applications have been discussed. The paper also describes the 860-MHz TRF receiver developed for the reception of TV signal from ATS-6 satellite.
