Kraehe named new chairman of BHP Steel Limited

Graham Kraehe has been appointed the new chairman of BHP Steel Limited. Kraehe was the managing director and chief executive officer of Southcorp Limited from 1994 to February of this year. He is currently a board member of News Corp., Brambles and National Australia Bank.
