Fewer Federal Reserve officials expect the central bank to raise interest rates more than once this year, as policymakers gave a mixed picture of a USA economy where growth is picking up andjob gains are slowing. While the median forecast of 17 policymakers remained at two quarter-point hikes this year, the number of officials who see just one move rose to six from one in the previous forecasting round in March, according to projections released by the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) on 15th June with a two-day meeting in Washington.
