Moisture-susceptible compounds generally require the presence of dry compressed air during storage and movement through an industrial plant. To ensure the compressed air remains at the correct quality, it will need to be monitored. Mike Banister, chief executive officer of Michell Instruments, argues that employing a dewpointmeter to monitor compressed air moisture content has many benefits hut that its use is not always fully exploited.
