EN 60950-1 and EN 60065 now harmonised standards for GPSD

On 4 September, the harmonised standard list used for demonstrating compliance with the General Product Safety Directive (GPSD) 2001/95/EC was updated.~1 The most prominent additions made at this time were the information technology equipment general safety standard EN 60950-1:2006 and EN 60065:2002, which covers the safety of audio-visual and similar devices.
