Tin market enjoys bull run

Since the December Monitor, LME prices have recovered considerably, moving up from below $19,000/tonne in early December to around the US$ 21,000/tonne level currently. While the revival has been mainly in response to Indonesian supply disruption and historically low LME stocks, macroeconomic news has also been an important contributory factor which has buoyed all the base metals prices.
