The action of AgClO4on benzene solutions of PdCl (C6Cl5) (PPh3)2 leads to the new organometallic compound Pd (ClO4) (C6Cl5) (PPh3)2. From solutions of the latter new neutral or ionic species are obtained, PdX (C6Cl5) (PPh3)2 (X=NO2and AcO) and Pd (C6Cl5) L (PPh3)2 ClO4(L=py, #x3B1;-pic, #x3B2;-pic, #x3B3;-pic, 2, 4-lut, 3, 5-lut and 2, 4, 6-colidine). The new compounds were characterized by chemical analyses, conductivities, magnetic behaviour and IR and PMR spectra. In no case does the action of gaseous HCl cleave the #x3C3; (Pd-C6Cl5) bond.
