Continental AG inaugurated a new 13,000-square-meter facility to expand its R&D capabilities in Bangalore which was announced by the company on 22nd January. With a ?12.4-million investment and around 1,000 engineers, the new Technical Centre India (TCI) facility is set up to meet the "increasing demand for engineering and software development skills to support global R&D projects as well as local customers", said the company. 8 R&D labs will be housed in the new facility, it added.
