Odfjell Signs LOI for Two Chem Tankers From Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding

Shanghai— Odfjell SE has signed a letter of intent (LOI) for two additional chemical tankers to be built by Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co. in China. The 38,000-dwt vessels will have 40 stainless steel cargo tanks with a capacity of approximately 45,000 cubic meters. The LOI also includes options, Odfjell said, without providing details. A delivery schedule was not given.
