ExxonMobil expands exposure to East Africa gas

London-ExxonMobil has agreed to take a 25 stake in the vast gas-rich Area 4 offshore Mozambique from Italy’s Eni, part of a wider agreement that will see the two majors join forces to push forward two LNG projects in the country.
