Dr. V C Mercykutty, Scientist, Rubber Research Institute of India (RRII) received the award for outstanding poster in the ISHS International Symposium on Vegetable Grafting (ISVG 2014)' held at Wuhan, China from 17-21 March 2014. The certificate and memento were received by Dr. V C Mercykutty from Dr. Francisco Perez, Chairman of the International Society for Horticultural Science - Vegetable Grafting Working Group. The scientific paper titled Studies on Graft Compatibility of Buds in Vegetative Propagation of Hevea brasiliensis' authored by Dr. V C Mercykutty and Dr. T Gireesh (Scientist, RRII) had won the outstanding poster award.
