An On-Chip Power-on Reset Circuit for Low Voltage Technology

The power supply Voltage of LSI has been low- ered due to systemrequirements for low power dissipation. An on-chip power-on resetpulse generator (POR-PG) is used to de- termine the initial state ofthe memory devices of the system LSI. The requirement for the POR-PGis strict for lower power Supply voltage because noise margin issmaller relatively. This Paper describes a POR-PG for low powervoltage supply (V_dd) Which overcomes these problems. Hardwaremeasurement proves Improved pulsed height relative to variouspower-on profiles (slopr, Rise time etc.) and fluctuations oftemperature and process.
