LANXESS breaks ground on worlds largest 160,000 tonnes EPDM plant in China

With an investment of 235 million euro ($302 million), the largest it has made in China to date, LAiNXESS AG is setting up what will be the worlds largest plant for EPDM synthetic rubber. The German specialty chemicals leader's plant will be located in Changzhou, in China's Jiangsu Province and will have a capacity of 160,000 metric tonnes when it starts up in 2015.
