6th International Rubber Glove Conference and Exhibition 2012 in Kuala Lumpur (IRGCE)

The Malaysian Rubber Glove Manufacturers Association (MARGMA) held its 6~(th) International Rubber Glove (IRGCE) in Kuala Lumpur 4-6 September, 2012. The first one was held in the year 2000, since then the IRJ has been a regular participant and also a supporter of this important event held by the world's leading glove manufacturing country Malaysia in association with the Malaysian Export Promotion Council (MREPC), Malaysian Rubber Board (MRBJ, the Thai Rubber Glove Manufacturers Association (TRGMA) and the Indonesian Rubber Glove Manufacturers Association (IRGMA). In his welcome speech Lim Kwee Shyan, President, MARGMA said that the theme of this event "Innovation for Sustainability reflects the importance of innovation in a fast growing industry, balancing between rising costs of production in labour, raw materials and energy, with issue on depletion of natural resources such as oil, gas and water to renewal resources such as natural rubber latex, biomass or even solar energy.
