Clinical efficacy of herbal antidiarrhoeal AV/ADP/14 in dogs

Gastrointestinal disease manifested by diarrhoea in dogs and cats ranks second only to skin disease as reason for veterinary consultation (Burrows, 1983). While diagnosis of the underlying disorder is pursued, symptomatic treatment of diarrhoea is essential and should be started immediately. This report deals with the clinical efficacy of a polyherbal formulation AV/ADP/14 for the treatment of diarrhoea in dogs.
