Out of 67 dairy cattle feed samples 39 (65%) were found to be positive for the presence of aflatoxins ranging from 50-400 ppb. The level of toxins was found to be more in the months of July, August and September when the weather was wet and humid. Aflatoxin contamination was observed more at organised farms than at unorganised farms.
