After the biggest investment in the history of LANXESS, in June 2013 it opened its third and most modern Butyl rubber plant in Jurong Island in Singapore With an investment of approximately ? 400 million the plant has an annual target capacity of 100,000 metric tonnes. The plant is one of the most modern of its kind in Asia and produces premium Halobutyl rubber and regular Butyl rubber for LANXESS customers.
