Mitsubishi Is Planning to introduce warning steering vibrations as part of an innovative effort to boost road safety in a car to be launched later this year, reports Maurice Glover. The company's engineers are understood to have developed technology that makes the steering wheel vibrate if it senses that the car is starting to stray from its designated path during motorway travel. And if it views the driver's lapse in concentration as sufficiently serious to be a potential hazard, the equipment will automatically react to the situation by bringing the car back on course.
