The authors have developed several analysis methods based on the FEM for microwave circuits, and have shown the validity and usefulness of the analysis methods. In this work, a microwave simulator having the analysis methods as solvers and commercial tools as pre- and post-processors is made. This simulator runs on Word97 of Windows98. Using this simulator, the transmission characteristics of an H-plane waveguide junction, the eigenmodes of a shielded planar circuit, and the eigenmodes of a three-dimensional cavity resonator are analyzed, and the computed results are presented in graphs and plots of the field distribution.
