Blood serum profile of Beetal x Black Bengal crossbred kids at different stages of growth

The present stud), was conducted on 28 Beetal X Black Bengal (14 males and 14 females) halfbred weaned kids to estimate blood serum constituents at different stages of growth. The results revealed increasing trend for total protein, urea and glucose with the advancement in age. While opposite trend was observed for serum cholesterol in both sex. The results further revealed that the total serum protein, serum urea, serum cholesterol and blood glucose levels got stabilised by 5th, 6th, 6th and 3rd month of age respectively. No differences in levels of serum constituents studied were observed between two sex.
