Lanxess expands Jhagadia site to serve booming Indian market

The German specialty chemicals giant, Lanxess AG, is continuing to expand its Indian production site in Jhagadia, in the western state of Gujarat. The group has underlined its commitment to the subcontinent by inaugurating three new plants in January to serve the growing Indian market. Lanxess invested around Rs 490 crore (70 million euro) and created roughly 300 new jobs at the site.
