Arnott's Biscuits' new production facility, in Huntingwood is the largest biscuit manufacturing facility in Australia. The Huntingwood site replaces an older factory, with the new factory matching its predecessor in being able to produce 31,500 tonnes of biscuit products per annum. However, the new facility has only four oven lines, compared to the eleven in the old factory, and only requires one third of the previously worked man hours. This represents a colossal advancement in cost and, above all, efficiency. A significant degree of these savings arise from the use of the Citect plant management systems in the project.
