GROSS ANATOMICAL OBSERVATIONS ON THE TONGUE OF DEER

摘要

Among the ruminants, the tongue being the most important prehensile organ. The systematic scientific study on the gross anatomical characteristics of the tongue of deer is scarce. Hence the present study was planned to workout the same in this species.
