Therapeutic evaluation of Wisprec and Himax-D against dermatophytes infection in dogs

The efficacy of Wisprec, a herbal medicine of Natural Remedies Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore, was evaluated against natural dermatophytes infection in dogs. Dogs were treated topically with Wisprec cream and Himax D ointment. The efficacy of the treatment wasascertained on the basis of clinical improvement and absence of dermatophytes. Both medicines were found effective against dermatophytes infection in dogs. Wisprec cream showed better efficacy in terms of earlier recovery. No untowards reaction was observed in the treated dogs.
