Daelim Industrial Bids to Acquire Stake In Williams' Geismar Olefins Facility

Geismar— Daelim Industrial has made a bid to acquire Williams Partners' 88.5 interest in an ethane cracker complex in Geismar, La, according to the Korea Economic Daily. Williams Partners last year began a process to explore the monetization of its indirect ownership interest in the olefins plant and complex at Geismar, which it said may result in a sale or long-term, fee-for-service tolling agreement (PCN, 12 Sept 2016, p 1).
