An experiment was conducted during the years 1999 to 2001 on effect of micronutrients application on cane yield and juice quality of sugarcane plant crop with an early variety 91 V 83 in clay loam soil. In this study, application of recommended dose of 168 kg N - 75 Kg P_2O_5 -100 kg K_2O/ha along with foliar spray of 0.5% FeSO_4 twice at 45 and 90 days after planting sugarcane (T_3) recorded higher cane yield of 118.9 t/ha and juice sucrose of 19,93% which was on par with addition of recommended dose of NPK along with foliar spray of 0.2% ZnSO_4 twice at 45 and 90 days after planting (T_4 -118.2 t/ ha & 19.63%) and both were significantly higher over application of recommended dose of NPK alone (T_1 -111.4 t/ha) in cane yield while T_3 alone showed significantly higher juice sucrose over T1 (19.40%). While significantly lower cane yield of 69.3 t/ha and juice sucrose of 17.99% were obtained by absolute control (T_9) where no fertilizers were applied.
